Brand Marketing

The demographic of LWL was trying to attract was Men and Women ages 15-45, with a passion for surfing and the beach lifestyle. The Jeep persona is additive to this lifestyle therefore what better merch to have than a tire cover and stickers to add on their bumper.

I repurposed different elements from the logo and used them in the back of this business card. The logo has an entire side to itself in this card to give it it's own realestate. I also made sure to put the socials on the front since they are so important now a days for a business. It's minimal yet still friendly and fun like the client wanted.
The colors I used in the design are representative of when the sun is fully out, hitting you in your face. All the colors are bright and very saturated to give it that friendly and fun vibe the client asked for.
I let the need to use storytelling in the logo as a differentiator for the business since many of their competitors lacked this. I set the scene of a day at the beach and added the palm trees and birds to encompass the adventure of it all. For the typeface, I intentionally chose two, I wanted to bring the wave of the ocean, into the "Lake Worth" section. Then for "Longboard", I used a font that elongated the type to elude to a literal longboard.

Since the logo itself held so much story I knew anything additive needed to complement the brand in a simplistic way that would draw a consumer's eye to the logo. The Ad had an easy-to-use QR code for consumers to simply scan and learn more. Photoshop was used to add texture to the overall image to make consumers feel they are there on the beach with a Lake Worth Longboard.
